Carp fish
Carp is a native of the carp family. This valuable commercial fish lives in flocks in freshwater reservoirs almost throughout Eurasia. Its slightly elongated body is covered with large golden-yellow scales, it is darker on the back with a barely noticeable bluish tint, and lighter on the abdomen.
The fish meat is juicy and tender, slightly sweet. Carp are fried, boiled, baked, stewed, used to make minced meat. This fish is suitable for dietary nutrition, as it is low in fat.
