Black raisins (oftobi)
Very inexpensive and completely natural black raisins of solar drying. Without treatment with preservatives and oil. Perfect for baking, smoothies.. Yes for anything
Translated from Tajik, "oftob" means the Sun. Unlike soyagi raisins, which are dried in the shade or partial shade, oftobi raisins are laid out on a flat surface in the sun and dried to a completely dry state. Usually, a well-compacted clay platform is used in the open air. The midday sun of Uzbekistan completely dries the grapes in a couple of days without any additional tricks.
For drying, black seedless grapes are used, the caliber of berries is from small to medium. Raisins are a little dusty, but without dirt and debris, pests are also absent. Perfect for those who have been looking for a real, completely natural, and at the same time very inexpensive variety of raisins for so long. This very tasty dried grapes are perfect for baking (cakes, pies, buns), for making raw sweets and smoothies, as well as simply adding to porridge in the morning.
You can also add it to cottage cheese or eat it with tea - in this case, we recommend pre-soaking the raisins for 1-2 hours in cold water, or for 5-10 minutes in boiling water.
