What is a golden raisin?
There are many varieties of raisins, but the essence of these dried fruits remains unchanged. Like any other, golden raisins are obtained in the process of drying grapes. In this case, light grape varieties are used. Drying can occur both naturally – in the sun, and with the use of special drying devices. The process of drying raisins, as a rule, is much longer than, for example, dried apricots, and is about 40 days.
Useful properties of golden raisins
Like many other dried fruits, raisins contain large amounts of glucose and fructose. This makes it indispensable for athletes, bodybuilders and those who spend a lot of energy every day. Vitamins, amino acids and minerals (for example, silene and phosphorus) allow golden raisins to facilitate the process of assimilation of other nutrients and proteins by the body. Doctors recommend raisins for such ailments as acidosis, arthritis, heart disease, kidney stones and hair loss.
