Super magnesium(B6)
Super magnesium(B6).
Description:
Magnesium is present in the human body at an average concentration of 17 mmol/kg, of which 99% is intracellular. Magnesium is selectively absorbed by the mucous membrane of the small intestine. With a normal diet, 40-50% of the consumed amount of magnesium is absorbed.
Approximately half of the intracellular magnesium is part of the bone tissue, and the rest is found in smooth or striated muscles, as well as in red blood cells.
Magnesium is primarily excreted in the urine. After glomerular filtration, 70% of the magnesium present in plasma, approximately 90% of magnesium is reabsorbed by the renal tubules. Magnesium in the urine is, on average, one third of the magnesium consumed
