Planmeca Viso™ is the perfect combination of excellent image quality and high-end practicality. It has all the qualities of a world-class CBCT unit - and even more. The device is an impressive step forward in the evolution of imaging using cone beams.

Patient positioning is carried out directly from the Planmeca Viso control panel using built-in cameras and viewing the patient in real time. You can see the patient in real time from the control panel for flexible and accurate positioning of the field of view. The volume size can also be freely adjusted from 3x3 to 30x30 cm.
Large sensor 25x30 cm
Planmeca Viso offers a wide range of volumes to meet all clinical needs - from a single tooth to a complete skull. This makes it possible to obtain single scans covering the entire maxillofacial area without the need for stitching, since a large sensor can capture CBCT scans with one revolution, the height of which is 19 cm. The 3D sensor of the device is also fully capable of displaying 2D images.
Improved Planmeca ProFace® photos
Planmeca Viso has introduced a new way to take photos of the face of Planmeca ProFace®. The sensor of the device has four built-in cameras and LED light strips for shooting highly detailed 3D photos. You can combine them with intraoral scans and CBCT images of your patient to enrich three-dimensional treatment plans by creating a virtual patient.
Tube voltage 120 kV
The 120 kV Planmeca Viso tube voltage option provides optimized quality for complex imaging cases, reducing artifacts and providing more contrasting images.
Correction of motion artifacts
Our intelligent Planmeca CALM™ motion correction algorithm is great for visualizing patients who find it difficult to stay still. This eliminates the need for repeated analysis, canceling the effects of patient movement.
Planmeca PlanID ™
Planmeca PlanID™ is a login system for identifying users and providing them with quick and convenient access to their personal settings using a flash card. In particular, large clinics and networks can benefit from knowing when, how and by whom this device was used.
Intelligent Patient Support
Planmeca Viso occipital support provides stability without compromising patient comfort. The new support does not cover the patient's ears in a three-dimensional photo of the face and can also be used without a chin cup thanks to the Planmeca CALM motion artifact correction algorithm.
Ultra-low dose images
All of our CBCT devices offer a unique Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ image processing protocol. This allows doctors to obtain three-dimensional images at significantly lower effective doses of patients without a statistical decrease in image quality.
Cephalostat option
Planmeca Viso can be equipped with a disposable Planmeca ProCeph™ cephalostat. A single receipt of ceph takes less than a second and eliminates the risk of patient movement. This is especially useful when visualizing young children and other patients who tend to move during visualization.
