Description

Lime is widely used in the production of building materials and as a raw material for the treatment of some surfaces. Lime is produced by firing in special equipped furnaces at temperatures from 1000 to 1200 degrees of carbonate rocks. Heat-treated lime takes the form of irregular shaped pieces, which are subjected to various processing in the process of further use. Since 2008, we have been producing and selling ready-made lime products for Uzbekistan and CIS countries: quicklime, quicklime, crushed lime and Hydrated lime (pushonka)

Chemical formula and composition of lime

No chemical catalysts are used for the production of lime, the main condition for its production is only the appropriate thermal regime. Due to this, a completely natural material is made during the manufacturing process, the content of small clay impurities in lime is allowed.

Limestone has the formula CaCO3, as it mainly consists of calcium. In the process of temperature exposure, carbon dioxide is released, and the raw materials produced have the formula CaO.

Technical properties

For the production of slaked and quicklime, we have a certificate regulated by the state standard (GOST 9179-77).

In the production of lime, only carbonate rocks and a certain amount of mineral additives are used. The volume of additives does not exceed the amount specified in the standards for a certain type of lime.

Upon contact with water, carbon dioxide is released and lime turns into a liquid state, the concentration of which depends on the amount of water. Depending on the technological process of firing and temperature, it is possible to obtain lime of different strength — hard-baked, intermediate and softly baked.
