GLUE FOR CERAMIC TILES BAZA

A dry mixture based on cement, mineral fillers, fractionated sand and modifying additives that improve operational properties. 

SCOPE OF APPLICATION: The mixture is intended for laying ceramic tiles of small and medium sizes on horizontal and vertical plastered, concrete and brick bases. The adhesive is a mortar of wide application: it can be used for leveling surfaces with a layer of up to 5 mm and as a masonry mortar. For indoor and outdoor work.

PREPARATION OF THE FOUNDATION: The base must be strong, thoroughly cleaned of dust, dirt, oils, etc. Irregularities with a depth of more than 5 mm. must first be leveled with plaster mixtures. Before carrying out the work, it is recommended to pre-treat highly absorbent substrates with a deep penetration primer.

PREPARATION OF THE SOLUTION: 

1. Take a precisely measured amount of water (4.75 – 5.5 liters per 25 kg bag).;

2. Pour the mixture into the water;

3. Mix with a construction mixer or drill with a special nozzle until a homogeneous mass is obtained;

4. To withstand a technological pause of 5-10 minutes. for the maturation of the solution;

5. Mix again.

After that, the glue is ready for use for 3 hours with periodic stirring.

THE PROCEDURE FOR CARRYING OUT THE WORK: The adhesive solution is applied to the prepared base using a toothed spatula. The adhesive solution should be applied to a surface area that can be tiled for 15 minutes. After applying the glue, the tile is applied to the base and pressed. Within 10 minutes after laying, the position of the tile can be adjusted. The inter-tile seams must be cleaned immediately after laying the tiles. The work on filling the interplate joints is carried out after the adhesive joint has completely dried (the drying time is from 12 to 24 hours). Movement on the floor coverings can be carried out no earlier than 24 hours after laying the tiles. The tile cladding can be subjected to full operational load after 3 days. The tool is cleaned with water immediately after use.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: The dry mixture contains cement. When mixed with water, the product gives an alkaline reaction. To prevent skin irritation, avoid getting the solution on exposed areas of the body. In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately with water, if necessary, consult a doctor. In addition to the above information, you should follow the safety instructions in construction.

WARRANTY AND STORAGE: The warranty period of storage in undamaged original packaging is 6 months from the date of manufacture. Shelf life is 12 months. Store in dry rooms, excluding moisture ingress on bags with dry mixture. Transportation of products must be carried out in conditions that ensure the safety of packaging and protection from moisture. Store a maximum of 10 bags vertically.The manufacturer's instructions for the use of the dry mixture are of a recommendatory nature and do not affect the professional training of the contractor.
