MARU CARIBBEAN COAT: how to use?
And now - briefly about the features of the application.
If we are talking about exterior decoration (building facade), then keep in mind that it must be done at a temperature of at least +5 degrees and humidity of air no more than 80%. Although in our climate this temperature persists for most of the year. Therefore, finishing is not recommended, except perhaps in winter.
What tools are needed in the process of work?
a spray gun with a pressure sensor; a compressor; a vacuum container with pressure. Before starting work, the surface to be treated must be thoroughly washed, degreased and dried. The next step is to cover up the cracks. Before applying the composition, the surface is recommended to be primed using the primer composition 7/1 from MARU.
After finishing work with the primer, it is necessary to dry the wall for 4 hours. Apply a second coat of Maru Caribbean Coat 1 primer and leave to dry for 1 more day. Maru Caribbean Coat 1 will give a rich background to the decorative coat and strengthen the adhesion of the decorative coat to the wall.
Over time, using tape, give the surface the texture you want. After that, you can proceed to the direct application of plaster. It is applied with a spray gun. The optimal diameter of the nozzle of the device is 2.5-3.5 mm. At the end of the work, you need to leave the surface to dry for another 24 hours.
To improve wear resistance, coupled with the water-repellent properties of the finished surface, finishing work is completed by applying Maru Coating varnish. IMPORTANT:
Do not mix the mixture with a construction mixer and other devices. In this case, it is necessary to gently mix it with a stick. The stirring speed is one revolution per 10 seconds.
Packing of decorative plaster is made in buckets of 18 kg. Since the mixture is packaged in liquid form, you do not have to bother with its preparation, risking breaking the proportions.
The consumption of the mixture is 0.63-0.76 m2/kg.
The main advantage of this finishing material can be considered an acceptable cost. It will cost much cheaper than natural stone, travertine and other similar materials. And it will look no less stylish.
